Thank you, Yarnies! – Part 2

This is the wonderful yarn Michaela from Wollfaktor has created for the Seditious Stockings. The poor girl didn’t have an easy job: I described a yarn I had in mind, based on the description I got from editor/curator Tabetha – then I sent a foto of something similar to Tabetha, who sent me back a completely different foto, which I sent on to Michaela, who had to rethink the whole thing… if you read that: I’m sorry. 🙂

Anyhoo, we’re all very happy with the result: I totally fell in love with the deep, rich purple of the ‘Violetta’  colorway, that will be available in her shop once the book is published. There’s a whole bunch of other gorgeous lace and sock yarn now, of course – if you’re up to some temptation, have a look.

Dies ist das wunderbare Garn, das Michaela von Wollfaktor für die Seditious Stocking (Aufrührerstrümpfe) kreiert hat. Sie hatte es echt nicht leicht damit: Ich habe ihr ein Garn beschrieben, das mir nach der Beschreibung vorschwebte, die ich von der Herausgeberin Tabetha bekommen hatte – der habe ich anschließend ein Foto von einem ähnlichen Garn geschickt und prompt eins zurück bekommen (mit einem komplett anderen Garn), das ich dann an Michaela weitergeschickt habe, die mit der Planung von vorne anfangen musste. Falls du das liest, Michaela: Tschuldigung! 🙂

Wie auch immer, wir sind alle drei mehr als glücklich mit dem Endergebnis: Ich habe mich total in das satte, tiefe Lila verliebt. Die Färbung heißt ‘Violetta’ und ist im Wollfaktor Shop auf Dawanda erhältlich, sobald das Buch erschienen ist. Natürlich gibt es jetzt auch schon jede Menge tolle Socken- und Lacewolle – falls ihr bereit seid, euch in Versuchung führen zu lassen, werft mal einen Blick drauf.
